Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to R&J Distribution Pty Ltd T/A Regarde Jewellers. The terms "you", "your" and "yours" refer to the Buyer. These International Shipping Terms and Conditions are in addition to the General Website Terms of Service

DUTIES AND TAXES

  • Orders shipped outside Australia are generally subject to import taxes, customs duties, levies and/or fees imposed by the receiving country. These charges are generally calculated when the package arrives in the country.
  • Please note that these charges are not included in the product price, shipping and/or handling costs. They are solely the responsibility of the buyer and we are in no way responsible and will not be held liable for any of these charges arising from your shipment.
  • In some countries, authorities will withhold a package until the appropriate charges are paid by the receiver. Should you have a dispute over the charges or process, you must contact the appropriate authority in the destination country. We are not responsible and in no way liable for delays caused by this process.
  • Items sold to overseas residents are generally not subject to Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST). If this is the case, the GST component will be deducted at checkout.

DESTINATION COUNTRY LAWS AND PROCEDURES

  • It is the your responsibility to obtain the correct information from the appropriate authorities in the destination country regarding any import rules, regulations and restrictions that may apply to the products purchased in your order. We are not responsible and in no way liable for any liabilities that apply should your order breach any of these.
  • If products in your order or the entire shipment is seized or destroyed by local authorities in the destination country or international authorities either during transit or after arrival, we are not liable, will not be held responsible and will not reimburse any of the products seized or destroyed, charges which may be imposed by these authorities or any shipping and/or handling fees.
  • If products in your order or the entire shipment is retained by the destination country's postal service due to it being unable to be delivered (for example due to incorrect address details or non-collection),  we are not liable, will not be held responsible and will not reimburse any of the products, charges which may be imposed by the carrier or any shipping and/or handling fees.

RE-DELIVERY

  • If products in your order or the entire shipment is returned to Australia by local authorities in the destination country or international authorities either during transit or after arrival, we will not be held responsible and will not reimburse any charges which may be imposed by these authorities or any shipping and/or handling fees. We will only return products at our sole discretion and in line with our policies and procedures.
  • If products in your order or the entire shipment is returned to Australia due to it being unable to be delivered (for example due to incorrect address details or non-collection), we will not be held responsible and will not reimburse any charges which may be imposed by these authorities or any shipping and/or handling fees. We will only return products at our sole discretion and in line with our policies and procedures.
  • It is the buyer's responsibility to cover any product replacement, shipping and/or handling costs should they wish to have the order re-delivered to the same or alternative delivery address after it has been returned. We retain sole discretion on whether to accept a request for re-delivery and may refuse to re-ship a parcel where we believe the initial reason for return has not been addressed by the buyer and will result in a further rejection.

ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATES FOR INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

  • If you require a product or order to arrive by a certain date, we recommend you contact us using the link provided so we can provide a more accurate estimate. We do not and will not guarantee an exact delivery date or timeframe for any deliveries outside Australia.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING ADDITIONAL TERMS

  • We do not ship to International PO Box, 'Poste Restante' or temporary addresses including Hotel, Hostel or Airbnb addresses. Should you be unable to provide a permanent physical address for your delivery, we reserve the right to cancel your order before shipment and refund your payment.
  • We are not responsible for any incorrect delivery errors by carriers and/or any errors which occur due to incorrect shipping details provided.
  • We are not and will not be held liable for any products or shipment which is lost, misplaced or delayed in transit. We highly recommend you purchase appropriate shipping insurance to cover these events.
  • All our international shipments include the requirement for 'Signature on Delivery'. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure the addressee will be available to sign on delivery.
  • Certain international carriers have changed their processes for obtaining a signature on delivery, in some cases either taking a photo or using another method to record correct delivery. We are not and will not be held liable for any lost or stolen products, items or packages where the destination carrier has performed their current signature on delivery policy or practice.
  • We are not and will not be held liable for any lost or stolen products, items or packages that have occurred after a delivery confirmation (such as a signature on delivery) to the shipping address. It is the responsibility of the buyer to contact the destination carrier and file any investigation or claim paperwork.
