A beautiful example of one of Australia's most renowned gemstones. Crafted from 14ct Yellow Gold, this ring features a solid oval shaped opal cabochon measuring 9.5 x 8.5mm. I love the use of a pronged setting as opposed to a bezel setting, which allows you to appreciate the opal from all angles. 

The amazing flashes of blue, green, orange and purple that the opal gives off is just mesmerising and hard to capture in photos. A nice decorative shoulder helps tie everything together with a soft flowing effect.

CONDITION

Excellent - The opal itself is in very good condition with no visible chipping or cracking. There are some very light scratches on the band consistent with age.
